New Schools 2021 Program, VIC

The VIC New Schools 2021 Program includes the design, construction, commissioning, and completion/handover of five new primary (P-6) schools and two new secondary schools (7-12) located in the southeastern and northern/western regions of Victoria. Five of the schools were completed for the commencement of the 2020 school year, three are completed for 2021opening and the final specialist school is to be completed in 2022.

A key challenge of this project has been the development of engineering service designs that respond to the requirements of the BQSH to deliver an appropriate teaching and learning environment whilst managing project costs within the allocated budget. Staging, pricing, and tender options were identified, developed, and tendered at 60% Design Development stage; with the design completed with the contractor engagement.

Engaged by Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA), LCI is providing electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, fire protection, and fire safety services.
