Nabeel has over 34 years of experience across Fire Safety Engineering which include roles in consulting engineering and with the Metropolitan Fire Brigade, Melbourne. His fire engineering involvement has included design and consulting services, statutory approval roles, industry committees/participation, research, testing, and expert opinion reports.

Nabeel’s areas of expertise include; fire safety engineering and risk assessments, performance based design and alternative solutions, fire design solutions and advice for construction projects, preparation of fire safety strategies for complex facilities such as airports, shopping centres and healthcare campuses and expert advice for hearings. Nabeel has also been a regular contributor to the broader industry through participation on; Australian Standards and Building Code Committees, Society of Fire Safety and Fire Protection Association, and the Building Appeals Board (Victoria).
