The Victoria Clinic Vertical Extension

The renowned Victoria Clinic located in Prahran, Melbourne, has been vertically expanded with an additional 4 floors above the existing Ground Floor site. These upgrades have facilitated the Clinic’s expansion accommodating 15 additional psychiatrists and 200 staff. This growth will offer a wider range of mental health services and trauma-based care. The development also saw a new multideck carpark, rooftop gymnasium and outdoor garden area.

LCI proudly provided full building services engineering including Lift Services and ESD to The Victoria Clinic project. The project required intricate staging of works to ensure uninterrupted operations of the existing Mental Health facility throughout the project’s duration.

The detailed design involved the relocation of existing services for the new construction area and new engineering plant, with consideration of connection back into the existing aging plant and allowance for potential future site upgrades. We also conducted detailed lighting studies to ensure neighbouring suburban properties were not impacted by spill lighting from the new development carpark and driveway.
